Checks Prior to Manuscript Submission
Submission of manuscripts can be made by e-mail, via this website or on disk in a PC compatible format. If submitting on disk please include a print out and ensure you include any illustrations.
Before submitting your manuscript please check the following:
- That you have funds available to pay the publication page charges and that you state this in the covering letter. The current rate is available on application to the Publisher.
- You have carefully considered and answered the questions in the Journal Submission Criteria in terms of assessing whether your manuscript is suitable for submission to the journal. Submitted manuscripts must meet the journal’s scientific and editorial submission criteria.
- Your answers to the questions in the Journal Submission Criteria are included with your manuscript.
- The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the are included with your manuscript. Notes for Contributors-Regular Issues.
- The manuscript is your original work (and that of your co-authors).
- Your co-authors are aware of the manuscript, and agree with and have approved its content and its submission to The Journal of International Medical Research.
- The manuscript is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.
- The manuscript has not previously been published.
- Permissions to use any material reproduced from another source have been obtained for publication in all languages and all publishing media, including print and digital/electronic formats.
- A Publishing Agreement Form has been signed by all authors and is being sent to the journal. If the journal does not receive one they will send one to me for author(s) signature.
- You have clearly stated on the manuscript that this article is being submitted for publication in The Journal of International Medical Research.
- You have kept a copy of the final version of your manuscript.
- If submitting by e-mail you have included all figures/illustrations.
- If submitting on disk you have included a full print out and all figures/illustrations.

- If submitting by e-mail you have included all figures/illustrations. If relating to a symposium you should send your e-mail submission before you leave for the symposium.
- If submitting on disk you have included a full print out and all figures/illustrations. If relating to a symposium it should then be handed to the journal’s representative at that symposium.
